The kitchen
Adom Kitchen has been feeding Kuku Hill since 2011. Maame Akosua starts the waakye pot at four in the morning so it is ready when the first taxi drivers pull up, and the shito is ground here, in the back, from her mother's recipe.
Nothing is held over. What is not sold by closing is given away, and the pots start again the next morning. If you want the tilapia, call ahead — the good ones go before noon on Fridays.
